FRIENDS
Oil on Canvas, 16" x 18" (unframed)
Frame: N/A

Another painting of Stow Lake, one of my favorite spots in the Golden Park. This time, the emphasis is not on the cherry trees, or the bridge, or the pagoda, but rather on its winged denizens. It's called Friends. It's about the three seagulls floating by the side of the lake and the three pigeons on its bank having a little conference. We can be friends regardless of our color (one can be white, the other black), or what we can do (one can swim, the other can't), or whatever differences we have.
