Painting: RIZAL MONUMENT

This painting is based on images when then San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom visited Manila as head of the San Francisco Manila Sister City Committee (SFMSCC) Trade and Cultural Mission to the Philippines. On this particular occasion Mayor Newsom, flanked by Manila Mayor Lim and a military official, was about to lay wreath at the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero.
