Painting: RIZAL PARK

This is a painting of Rizal Park in Butuan City where I grow up. It's across the St. Joseph catholic church and was painted around Christmas time. As in most places in the Philippines, the town plaza is located next to the main catholic church. It's the central part of town where city functions and celebrations are held and a lot of them start with a mass at the church, the Philippines being predominantly a catholic country.
