Painting: EARTHWAYS

This was painted to honor "Earthday". Global Warming and environmental destruction are undoubtedly two of the most if not the most pressing concerns of Mother Earth today and by that, of every inhabitant on this planet. There is environmental and scientific evidence that we are nearing the "tipping Point" yet it is negated and brushed aside by a lot of people and especially by those that have considerable impact on the issue: companies who willfully harm the environment for the sake of the bottomline, who pay big money to influence elected officials to turn the other way and pay "scientists" to disprove it. The world is facing faster climate change, so many species on land and in the ocean are disappering faster, we are now using more natural resources than ever before, environmental contaminants on land, water and in the air are at record levels and population growth is exploding and projected to reach 9.5 billion in 2050. We're all in this together and therefore success can only come from working together.
